Incredible place but you need to know what you’re getting in to. Bring lots of cash ($15 cover and cash only bar) and be prepared to stay there until late if you want to have fun. Be sure to brush up on your drumming before you show up because there is an open drum set on the dance floor for any drunk to hop on. If you know what you’re expecting then you’ll have a great time

Lived in Memphis for 3 years now and just got to experience this place. Omg it’s incredible! Cover is a little high but I understand that may be due to closing for the pandemic and opening back. Highly recommend. And drummers there’s a drum set on the dance floor you can play along with the music. So fun!

I really enjoyed this place!! This was such a great vibe all around!! The music they played was 70s/some 80s/90s. It was a good mix of music. Really loved the setup in there!

St patty’s day disco night! My favorite place to go and dance to some good music! From the funky decor to the disco floor , you will have a good time! There was a 20 dollar cash cover and they only did cash at the bar but they had an ATM in the building too. There’s two floors also.

Came here after crossing paths with the owner at a nearby restaurant. I stopped by around 10pm which was still pretty early so entry was free and there were only a few folks there. The staff was really nice. The music was a mix of old school and new school. I left a little after 1am and the ppl were still coming in. I could see this being one of my usual spots when visiting Memphis.

Came here last year with my friend, first ones in, last ones out. The DJ that was there on a weekend in mid October in 2024 was the best DJ ever! He kept the energy up and made sure my friend and I were dancing all night long! Even got to dance with Paula the owner! Great vibe, great staff, hell of a time. Although I wish we could have gotten some free water, but that's just a nitpick, if you wanna dance to all sorts of 80s to 2000s music, go here!

Paula & Raifords is a Memphis icon and one of the best discos around, period. We live in Nash and make the 3hr pilgrimage several times a year to JUST come and get down at this club. The ambience is all lights and sparkle and disco balls spinning the limelight with all my hopes and dreams for an actual disco club-down to the iconic light up dance floor. The DJ is throwing banger after banger and actually playing DISCO along with dance club anthems that get the crowd moving; and the crowd is actually moving-every time we come the dance floor packs up with people just looking to sweat it all out and have some fun, together, and that’s what it’s all about. If that’s what you are looking for this is the place. You might even run into Paula running around tending the club and making the night a great time fun for her customers. Can’t really describe it to do it justice, you just have to experience it; show up and be a part of the good vibes! Pictures are worth 1k words so I’ll drop a few here-
